I am a Public Health Statistician and the founder of Dataverse Statistical Consultancy in Ghana, with a strong interest in uncovering unseen stories through data visualization and analytics. My passion lies in harnessing the power of data and advanced statistical technologies to improve health outcomes, address pressing health challenges in Ghana and beyond, and inspire data-driven decision-making in organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a healthcare professional, I am particularly drawn to the application of advanced data visualization, statistical, and computational methods to healthcare data. I value every opportunity to learn cutting-edge techniques and technologies for analyzing health data, and I am eager to develop my skills in data design, visualization, machine learning, and predictive modeling of infectious diseases, which are becoming increasingly important in the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I currently serve as a Public Health (Health Informatician) officer at St. Martin De Porres Hospital in Ghana and as a virtual trainer on statistical programming with Stata. I trained in general nursing at the Keta Nursing and Midwifery Training College (KNMTC), earned a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Public Health with a specialization in health informatics, and hold a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Presbyterian University. I am also pursuing a master\u2019s degree in Data Management and Analysis at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, through the Department of Data Science and Economic Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From 2009 to 2021, I worked with the Ghana Health Service, where I held several leadership roles, including Deputy Head of Health Information Management, Chairman of the Data Validation Team, Member of the Quality Improvement Team, Member of the Information Technology Committee, and Member of the Volta Regional Peer Review Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My research interests include Infection Prevention and Control, Maternal and Child Health, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH-IPC), Population Health, and Family Planning.
